What We Take Care Of

Everything below happens under our roof. You are not being sent across town for a root canal, then somewhere else for a crown, then somewhere else again for a night guard.

Checkups and cleanings — Two visits a year, real screening, and a hygienist who has time to explain what she's seeing.

Same-visit crowns — We scan, design, and mill many crowns here in the office, so a lot of patients skip the temporary and the second appointment.

Dental implants — Planned in 3D with Image Guided Implantology, which cuts typical placement from around 50 minutes to 10–15.

Root canals — The tooth stops hurting the same day we treat it. That's the whole point of the procedure.

Invisalign and braces — Clear aligners, traditional braces, and Myobrace for growing kids. Three options means we can recommend the right one.

Emergency dental care — Broken tooth, lost crown, swelling, pain that woke you up. Call early and we'll fit you in the same day when we can.

Pediatric dentistry — First visits, sealants, and a look at how your child is breathing and how the jaw is developing.

Sleep apnea and airway care — Custom oral appliances, 3D airway imaging, and myofunctional therapy for people who can't tolerate CPAP.

Dentures and All-on-4 — From a first full denture to a fixed full-arch on four implants.

Veneers and whitening — Cosmetic work that's planned around your bite, not just your photos.

Gum disease treatment — Bleeding gums are not normal and they don't get better on their own.

The Thing Nobody Else in This Market Is Doing

Search for a dentist around Fort Smith and you'll read the same page a dozen times. Cleanings, fillings, crowns, veneers, a phone number.

Here's what we do differently, and it's not a slogan.

We treat breathing as a dental issue. How you breathe shapes how your jaws grow, how wide your upper arch is, how well you sleep, how hard you grind, and where your teeth end up. Those aren't four separate problems that happen to land in the same person. Usually they're one problem with four symptoms.

We have a myofunctional therapist on staff. Laura Williams, RDH has been in dentistry since 1997, a registered dental hygienist since 2013, and a practicing myofunctional therapist for more than ten years. She works at both offices. Plenty of practices mention myofunctional therapy. Very few have someone actually doing the work, week after week, with patients.

Dr. Beau Sparkman is a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. He treats sleep apnea with custom EMA and ProSomnus oral appliances for patients who've given up on a CPAP, and his other focus area is orthodontics, which means arch development and airway get looked at together instead of in separate buildings.

We image the airway in 3D. CBCT scanning shows us actual airway volume, along with the bone, sinus, and nerve anatomy we need for implant planning. A standard dental X-ray shows none of that.

And we say where the line is. A dentist cannot diagnose obstructive sleep apnea. That's a medical diagnosis, made by a physician from a sleep study. What we can do is screen, image, and help you get a study arranged, often one you take at home in your own bed. Then we handle the dental side of treatment. Any office that tells you it can diagnose your sleep apnea is overstating what it does.

Airway screenings and self-assessments are educational tools, not a medical diagnosis. Candidacy is determined at a consultation and results vary.

We're one practice with two front doors. Your records, your X-rays, your treatment plan, and your membership follow you between them, so if it's easier to get your cleaning in Roland and your crown in Fort Smith, that's fine with us.

We publish our membership prices. Most practices around here won't, and you shouldn't have to call and sit through a sales conversation to find out what a cleaning plan costs.

Smile Savers is our in-house plan. No deductibles, no waiting periods, no annual maximums.

Every membership includes: two comprehensive or periodic exams, two additional limited exams, all needed X-rays, two cleanings, fluoride, and 20% off comprehensive treatment. Implants, CT scans, and orthodontics are excluded.

The crowns are made here. We run a CEREC Primemill with a digital scanner and a VHF R5 mill in our own lab space. For many patients that means a crown designed and milled while you're in the building, no goopy impression, no two-week temporary that pops off on a bagel. Some teeth still need a lab-made crown, and we tell you which before we start.

Implants are planned in 3D before we touch you. With Image Guided Implantology we plan the depth, angle, and position on a CBCT scan first and place through a surgical guide. Typical placement time drops from roughly 50 minutes to 10–15.

Three dentists with different strengths. Dr. Sparkman for orthodontics and sleep. Dr. Farmer, born and raised in Fort Smith with high school in Sallisaw, for general and restorative care across both offices. We'll tell you when the answer is no. If an oral appliance isn't right for your sleep apnea, if aligners will give you a compromise where braces would give you a result, if a tooth is better extracted than saved, you'll hear it at the first visit instead of three visits in.
