When One Office Can't Cover Everything Your Family Needs

North on 71, and You're There Before Fort Smith Proper

Greenwood sits south of us in the 72936 zip, one of Sebastian County's two county seats — the courthouse on the square is a working one, not a monument. Highway 71 runs north from town toward Fort Smith, and Chaffee Crossing sits off to the east side of that approach.

That's the useful part. You are not driving into the middle of Fort Smith, past the mall, to reach us. A lot of Greenwood parents already make the trip north for work, for Ben Geren, or for a ball game, and a dental appointment fits into a trip you were making anyway.

Dr. Beau Sparkman, DDS owns the practice, graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in 2011, and handles braces, Invisalign, Myobrace and sleep apnea care. Dr. Joseph Farmer, DDS is a Fort Smith native with a biochemistry degree from UA–Fort Smith and covers general and restorative dentistry. Dr. Blain VanNice, DDS trained in computer science and design engineering before dental school and practices here in Fort Smith.

Cindy Saulsberry, RDH is our Fort Smith hygienist, practicing since 2011. Laura Williams, RDH works both offices and is a practicing myofunctional therapist with over ten years in that field.

Braces and Invisalign in-house. Dr. Sparkman does the orthodontics himself, so a Greenwood teenager isn't seeing a general dentist for checkups and an orthodontist somewhere else on a separate schedule. Myobrace is also available for younger children whose jaws are still developing.

Implants planned in 3D. Image Guided Implantology typically shortens placement from around 50 minutes to 10 to 15, using a CBCT scan and a surgical guide.

Sleep and airway care. Screening, 3D airway imaging, custom EMA and ProSomnus oral appliances, and myofunctional therapy. Many patients find an appliance easier to live with than a CPAP; candidacy is determined after a consultation and a sleep test.

Somewhere between second grade and senior year, a mouth does most of its structural work, and most of the decisions that matter get made in that window. Sealants on the new molars.
